Method of successive approximation

Solve the following by iterative method

1.    sinx= (x+1) / (x-1)

2.    3x-cos x -2=0

3.    3x = 6+log x

4.    x³+x+1=0

5.    2x – log x =7

6.    x³ + 2x² +10x =20

7.    2 sinx =x

8.    3x + sin x =e^x

9.    x³ + x² = 100

10.    cos x = 3x -1
